Electrical: HotTap Panels, Fuses, and Generator-Linked Power

Electrical introduces HotTap panels that draw power from nearby quest generators and use fuse slots to define how much power they can provide.

What It Adds

  • HotTap panels that can link into nearby generator-style power sources.
  • Fuse-based limits so the power available is defined by what is installed.
  • A server-side path for turning power access into a gameplay system instead of a binary switch.
  • Room to build progression, repair, scarcity, or event rules around electricity.

How It Plays

Players interact with power through placed panels and fuse capacity. Instead of power being only a background utility, the server can make it something players discover, maintain, protect, or upgrade depending on how the configuration is used.

Why It Matters

Electricity is more interesting when it has a physical presence and a cost. HotTap gives the server a way to make powered bases, events, or zones feel earned and inspectable.
